Extractions & Preservation
Though extracting a tooth is the last resort, it is sometimes necessary. If you have a badly damaged or decayed tooth, our team is here to extract it and preserve the integrity of your teeth, gums and overall oral health. From extra teeth to wisdom teeth, excessively crowded teeth and decayed/damaged teeth, extraction is sometimes necessary. Even some cracked teeth require extraction. However, you will not know if your compromised tooth needs to be extracted unless you reach out to Fairbanks Dental Care for a thorough analysis. We will exhaust all possible solutions aside from removing the tooth prior to extracting it.
The overarching aim of tooth extraction is to help you maintain optimal oral health and functionality. This means an artificial tooth such as a dental implant might prove better for your mouth than a decayed, damaged or otherwise compromised tooth. We will prioritize your comfort during the extraction process, providing an anesthetic so you don’t feel pain when the tooth is removed.
